I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother’s Day! My mom came for a visit, and we had a very busy Sunday. Our original plan was to go to Six Flags, but we felt it was just a little too cold out for that (we will be going though!). We decided to start out the day at Dose Market, where we made flower crowns, at the A Muse booth. After that, we decided to go to The Chicago Botanic Garden, it was so beautiful! Even though it was a little chilly, the beautiful gardens made it not seem as bad out!

Better late than never! Recently I took an amazing vacation to Isla Mujeres, a tiny island off the coast of Cancun. From there, it’s just a 30 minute ferry ride to paradise! There’s so much to do, and so peaceful. I’m obsessed with my new Coach weekend tote, I carried it with me everywhere and it held everything I needed and more!

Yesterday I was a part of great event hosted by Marie Claire magazine about Executive Presence, and some of the challenges we face in the workplace. It was a fun, informative event, and I was so honored to be included. My two co-panelists were amazing as well, Brittney Payton (co-host of “Chicago’s Best” and Alpana Singh (master sommelier and proprietor of The Boarding House, where the event was held). The company, atmosphere and discussion made the afternoon one to remember!
