I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother’s Day! My mom came for a visit, and we had a very busy Sunday. Our original plan was to go to Six Flags, but we felt it was just a little too cold out for that (we will be going though!). We decided to start out the day at Dose Market, where we made flower crowns, at the A Muse booth. After that, we decided to go to The Chicago Botanic Garden, it was so beautiful! Even though it was a little chilly, the beautiful gardens made it not seem as bad out!

On Friday I attended the Chicago History Museum’s Costume Ball in celebration of Ebony Fashion Fair. It was an amazing exhibit (you must go see it!) and such a fun party! It runs until January 5th, 2014. I got to wear an amazing Christian Siriano gown, and SociaLifeChicago has put me in the running for best dressed (thank you!). You can vote here if you loved my dress as much as I did! I also got to hang out with Cameron Silver from Decades (and Dukes of Melrose!) and Hamish Bowles (International Editor at Large for Vogue). It was a fashion reunion of sorts, as Hamish was there when I got engaged in Capri!
